In Thailand, the cool season is gradually giving way to the hot season, so changes are in the air. At Voice of Peace we have also been busy with some new changes, providing a more inviting and pleasant environment that communicates the words of Jesus in John 14:27, “My peace I give to you”.

On the 20th-21st of March, VOP staff met with the listeners in the province of Chiang Rai. We were able to listen to their needs, gave out some presents and also participated with a message and special songs at the Sunday service in a local church. We appreciate your prayers and support for this matter.

Just now our Annual Report for 2009 has been printed out and is ready for distribution. If you would like one or more copies, we would be happy to send them to you. Please just let us know how many copies you wish to receive and the address to where we should send them.

We are grateful for the opportunities we have to present the Gospel to people in Thailand through government radio stations, but this is also a constant challenge, as we have to pay for air time. We are currently paying 100,800 Baht (app. $3,000) per month for broadcasting half an hour on 10 government stations, which are located in various provinces in Thailand. These radio stations cover a total population of about 20 million people, including listeners in the neighboring countries of Laos and Burma. We would like to invite you to have a part in this ministry, as we need more financial support. This month we would therefore ask you to consider making a contribution that will help pay for air time on these stations.
